WQAZ
History:
The
Syner Foundation, spearheaded by veteran local broadcaster Tommy
Syner, entertained a host of local officials as the tower was
dedicated for their new radio station WQAZ FM. WQAZ is now on
the air at 98.5 FM & 101.5 FM. The station focus is on letting
the public know what Fayette & Raleigh Counties have to offer,
along with local news, sports, and features. With its exclusive
link to WHCP-TV30 (WB Network in Charleston-Huntington) news and
weather, WQAZ provides us with a unique look at what is going
on in our world.
